A holiday should be a relaxing break away from the stresses and strains of our daily lives. Emergency medical treatment abroad can be very expensive, so having the right cover will provide you with the peace of mind to let you get on with enjoying time with friends and family.
At coverbaloo, we aim to provide you with cover that is tailored to your individual needs and make sure that any pre-existing conditions are covered appropriately.
If you typically travel more than once per year, our annual multi-trip cover is perfect – it means you don’t have to sort out insurance for each individual trip and you can be covered before you’ve even booked your next holiday.
Our cover is open to all ages too – unlike many providers who have an upper age limit, there are several insurers we work with who are able to quote for single and annual policies with no age restriction.
Planning on taking a longer break? Many other providers limit you to a maximum trip length of 30 days. Our policy gives you the choice to increase your maximum trip length to up to 93 days on an annual policy, or up to 365 for single trip cover.
Whether you're looking to cover just yourself, or your partner or family as well, we can help.
We provide cover to suit your individual needs, from a solo break away, to gap years, to meeting up with a group of friends.
Whether it's a romantic city break or something more adventurous, we have an ideal range of cover for you as a couple.
Focus on making those precious family memories knowing that you've protected what matters most when you're away.
We cover all the key parts of your trip before and after you've set off

We’re able to consider any and all pre-existing conditions.
A pre-existing medical condition is usually described as an illness or injury that you had diagnosed before you take out your new Travel Insurance policy. These include things like Asthma, Diabetes and Cancer, as well as anxiety and depression.
You always need to declare any pre-existing conditions on your policy, or else you risk finding out you’re not covered when you come to claim.
If you have any questions or concerns, make sure to get in touch with our team of specialists at 0800 542 7167 who will make sure you get the right in place for your needs.
In the event you are unable to find a suitable product from our panel of multiple providers, you can find contact details of some additional insurers who specialise in travel insurance for people with serious medical conditions here, or call 0370 950 1790 for more information.

Even if you’re only going on a UK cruise, you’ll still need to consider the potential costs of private medical emergency treatment on board the ship or possible transfer to a mainland hospital, as this won’t be covered by the NHS.
Remember – most cruise companies now require you to evidence on boarding that you have cruise-specific travel insurance in place.

While you may be ready to travel again, we understand you may still be concerned about the impact coronavirus might have on your holiday plans. That’s why all of our policies include cover for emergency medical and associated expenses (including if you contract Coronavirus on holiday).
In addition we also have some schemes which can provide cover if you need to cancel your holiday because you contract coronavirus, or need to self-isolate before you travel.
*IMPORTANT: We’ll compare several insurers for you when you enter your details. Terms vary between each scheme. To make it clear what is covered in relation to coronavirus we have added a ‘Covid-19’ document to each scheme, which you can see alongside the price when you get a quote.
While the EHIC/GHIC card is very useful, it’s only about medical cover and only provides protection while travelling in Europe. An EHIC/GHIC only gives you access to state-run hospitals which, depending on where you travel to, can be far more limited. Even in a state hospital using an EHIC/GHIC, you may still have to pay a substantial amount in some countries.
The EHIC/GHIC gives valuable protection but it should never be seen as a substitute for travel insurance, which provides a much wider level of cover.
No, we are able to offer policies with no upper age limit.

Yes – we don’t need to know the names of your medications, only the names of your medical conditions. You may be asked how many medications you take for a particular medical condition.
To screen your medical conditions and provide an accurate travel insurance quote, we will need to know the name of the medical condition you have been diagnosed with. If you are unsure, please check with your doctor.
No, you won’t need to supply us or the travel insurance provider with a doctor’s certificate. Their medical screening questions will assess the severity of your medical condition. You just need to tell us the name of the medical condition and answer the questions honestly.
