Our policy won’t charge you any excess when you come to claim, so there’s no hidden costs for callouts. We also don’t charge extra to pay monthly, to cancel, or change details on your policy.
Our claims line is there to support you whenever you need, 24/7/365. All our engineers are fully vetted and approved and we work with local tradespeople across the country, so you’ll be supporting independent businesses near you too.
Our policy gives £1,000 cover for up to 3 claims per year, and includes everything listed below as standard.

This is usually your boiler and is covered against unexpected breakdown as long as it’s serviced at least once a year.

Discovered a leak in your home? We can send somebody to fix the problem, as your home insurance will likely only fix the damage the water caused.
If something fails between your gas meter and appliance, we’ll make sure to restore the connection. But if you’ve got a leak, make sure to call the National Gas Emergencies number first before you ring us.
It’s pretty difficult in today’s age to get by without electricity, so we’ll get you powered back on as soon as we can.

Vital for washing the dishes and washing yourself, nobody wants to put up with no hot water for too long.
Having your roof damaged or exposed to the elements means it could cause a lot of additional damage to your home. We’ll get it covered up so you can stop worrying.
If your home isn’t secure, like if your windows are broken or doors are damaged, then we know you won’t feel safe until we’ve fixed it.
Whether you lost them or the key snapped in the lock, we’ll get you back inside your home.
Unless you’re happy eating on some new ’cold food only’ regime, it’s definitely an emergency in our book if you can’t heat your food up.

However, our experience is that this should only cost around £80 (depending on your local area and circumstances). This is often still cheaper than packages that bundle it into the price, and gives you the flexibility to schedule the service for whenever is most convenient for you rather than when the insurer dictates.
